Hi I'm Kate Sullivan

I'm a freshman in college. I'm a musician. I want to explore the world. I make mistakes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love school and learning! I am excited to be starting college and living away from home for the first time. I love the outdoors! Camping, hiking, four-wheeling, running, all of it! I am also a musician. I am classically trained in piano and I have been teaching piano lessons for almost 3 years. I also play the guitar, percussion, and I sing. I am a very social person. I love talking to people and learning about them and their lives, so come talk to me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that this church is true. The Lord is always there to help comfort and guide me throughout my life. I don't always make the decisions that I know I should, but through my Savior I can repent and try again. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me despite my shortcomings and failures. He is proud of my efforts to become a better person.

How I live my faith

I love serving others. The best way to love someone is to serve them. I had the amazing opportunity to share my musical talents with my LDS ward by being the ward organist for over 3 years. There is an amazing spirit that comes when the entire congregation sings the sacred hymns, and I am so grateful that I got to be a part of it. Recently, I have been teaching Sunday lessons to a group of 8 year olds, and it is such a blessing to be around their sweet spirits.
