Hi I'm Jessica Streadbeck

My name is Jess. I like adventures, the outdoors, and Grido. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah and I love it. From the mountains to the desert, I love it all. I graduated from a small town High School in 2013 and spent a year going to school at Utah State University. My passion is skiing, camping, hiking, or just anything outdoors. I like to be always moving and experiencing everything that I can. I love all music and wish I could play more than "Open Arms" by Journey on the piano. I love my family more than anything in the whole world. Right now I am serving a mission in the beautiful country of Mendoza, Argentina and loving every minute.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised LDS. And my whole life, I knew it was true. Different choices along the way led me to doubt myself. When I went to school, I didn´t go to church and made decisions that weren't in line with what I knew to be true. I thought that this was just who I was now. But the Savior knew I was capable of SO much more. It is never too late. With a broken-heart and humble spirit I prayed one morning for help. The peace and happiness I instantly felt was overwhelming. God never forgets his children. He never forgot about me. I began to follow the commandments of the Lord and my life changed drastically for the better. Never again will I doubt my beliefs. No matter how low you are, you can ALWAYS start over through the atonement. Christ lives. We just have to accept Him and his infinite atonement. Open the door and let him in! The church is true. I then realized that there was no way I could keep the hope of this message to myself and started my mission papers. I am a Mormon because this church is the one true way to find happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a fulltime missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Everyday I am trying to be a little bit more like my brother Jesus Christ. I am no where near perfect- but I try my hardest to really take his name upon me. Its awesome as missionaries because we get to physically wear the name of Jesus Christ and people notice right away. I just hope that when I come home and no longer have a badge, that people will still be able to tell right away that I still am on of his disciples. "Live your life in such a way that those who don't know Christ but know you, will want to know Christ BECAUSE they know you." Serving as a missionary of the Lord has been the hardest and most rewarding experience of life. There is nothing compared to sharing with others the blessings of the Gospel that I have. I love to be happy, and nothing brings me mokre joy then sharing the truths of the restored Gospel of Jesus Chirst to all those that will listen.
