Hi I'm Robin

Crochet, knit and embroidery on toilet paper is what I craft. I am a daughter of God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Embroidery on toilet paper is the fun that I do. To watch someone look at the humor, realize it is "just" toilet paper. Seeing someone laugh is heart warming for me.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1979 I was a very happy Methodist. Two friends from high school joined the LDS church. Attending their baptism awakened something inside. Reading the bible, going to church, not drinking or smoking was already part of my life. But there was more. I talked at length with my mom about this "church". We consented to lessons. The Elders had to show me in the bible and they did. I prayed and finally read the book of Mormon. This filled the gap that was missing. God wasn't something, He was real. A testimony isn't stagnate. A testimony grows. As i was ready for more, the scriptures revealed more. Nothing in this world can offer you the peace that comes from knowing the Savior. It is why I am a Mormon. I know that we are eternal, families are forever.

How I live my faith

Doing for others in secret. I'd been impressed by a movie called "The magnificent obsession" giving/sharing/doing for others but impressing on them not to tell anyone but to share it with someone else. Pay it forward, the scriptures advise us to do for others without shouting it out to the world. A quiet simple faith.
