Hi I'm Whitney Allen

I am from Logan UT. I am serving a full time mission in Rancho Cucamonga, California, and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old. I graduated from Mountain Crest high school in 2010. I took a dental assisting course at Bridgerland Applied Technology College. I worked as a dental assistant for three years. I love sports, I played soccer, basketball, and when I graduated I got into playing golf. I love my family they are everything to me. I am the youngest of six. I have three nephews, and two cute nieces with one on the way! I am currently serving in Barstow, California! In a hiiiick tooowwn!!!:)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this religion gives me a sense of direction, peace, comfort, and guidance for my life. It has not only blessed my life, but It has blessed my families life as well. It really gives me a sense of purpose in life. It has helped me gain the peace of why I am here and what my goal in life is. Heavenly Father he wants us to be happy and experience joy in this life, he has given me a family who I love so much. He wants us to learn and grow from one another. I am a Mormon because the Gospel makes me want to become a better person, it makes me want to realign my life with our how our savior lived his life. It makes me happier person, it gives me comfort in times of trials, and tribulation. Without the Mormon religion my life would be incomplete! I would feel lost, and would be without a sense of direction. I love being a Mormon and I am so grateful to be apart of such a great religion, where we know that as we live the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can and will return to live with our Heavenly Father. Families can be together forever and I know that this Gospel is how I want to raise my own future family. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

How I currently live my faith is by serving a full time mission in Rancho Cucamonga, California. What I do as a missionary is teach people about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been on my mission for just over three months, and I have honestly loved every minute of it! I have met so many unique people, and it has been so great seeing people come closer to our Savior Jesus Christ, by making small and simple changes in their lives. Something that is so neat about being a missionary is we are always trying to serve people in our community. My first week out here on my mission we did a project called "mormon helping hands" where our stake got together and we went around our community and did different projects. My group was in charge of wracking, sweeping, and putting mulch around apartments in an apartment complex. The lady who owned the apartments was a non member. There were about 30 of us helping around the apartments. After we were done she was so grateful that we would take the time out of our lives to come and help her, she was very grateful and was interested in learning more about our religion.
