Hi I'm Elder Justin Walker

I grew up in Idaho! Currently, I'm serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission. I love football, lacrosse, and sharing the gospel

About Me

I am the oldest brother of four siblings, and I love all of them so much! I consider myself to be a responsible and friendly young man. I have played lacrosse and football over the past couple of years, and I have learned many lessons from participating in these amazing sports. Also, during high school, I was able to be a part of numerous groups and organizations that prepared me for mission life. I was certified as an EMT my junior year, and I also served as a school ambassador. Currently, I am a missionary in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission, and will be serving from the Summer of 2014 to the Summer of 2016. I am very grateful to be able to have this opportunity to serve the Lord! I love my family, being with my friends, playing sports, and being outdoors. Loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

I cannot imagine my life without the Gospel. It has formed the person that I am today. The Gospel gives me a full understanding about why I am here, and what purpose I have. Before high school, I had never really gained a strong testimony about the Gospel, the Savior, or his Atonement. Through different personal experiences, I learned for myself that the Gospel was true. There were different trials that I faced that I tried to solve by myself, but I quickly learned that this was the wrong decision. These trials helped me to realize that I needed to create a stronger relationship with my Heavenly Father. Through prayer and scripture study, I came to learn that my Heavenly Father knows who I am, and that he loves me very very much. Once I was able to gain that testimony, I was able to add my beliefs about the Book of Mormon, the Atonement, and other Gospel principles, to my now stronger testimony. The Gospel provides me with a sense of understanding, peace, joy, and love. That is why I am a Mormon. That's why I choose to live the way I live. I know that if I do so, my relationship with God will only grow stronger. I will be able to return to him again. I know this church is true, and I hope that I can help others to understand and know this truth as well.

How I live my faith

To me, example is the best way I can live my faith. By following the principles of the Gospel, and doing my best to walk in the Savior's footsteps, I have the chance to touch others lives. I have seen people in my life serve this same way, and it gets me excited to know that I can help others in this manner as well.
