Hi I'm Liam

I love to sing. I love to learn. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have completed high school; majoring in the arts. I love creative writing, singing, cooking, sewing, architecture, sculpting and many other forms of art and self-expression. I was accepted to University with a scholarship for Fashion Design but decided it was the best choice to serve a mission. I plan on continuing my education when I return home. I love to learn and would like to become proficient in at least one area of study. It is my dream and aspiration to fill the world with beauty. Whether it is in the form of a sculpture, or in the words of a poem.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon and follower of Jesus Christ because it is simply the only way to obtain real and lasting joy. I have spent some time in doubt, fear, and disobedience where the line of absolute truth was blurred and disintegrating. Thankfully with the help of people who sincerely love the Lord Jesus Christ and who genuinely love me too, I was able to gain a desire to come unto Christ. It is through love for each other that we can come closer to God and experience his tender mercy. I know that God is real. I know that he lives, that he loves us, and that he will give us every opportunity to choose joy and eternal life. He has given us his perfect son Jesus Christ, who died to pay the price for our sins, that by true repentance we might be clean enough to return to live in God's presence. I know the gospel that Jesus Christ set up during his earthly ministry has been restored in its fullness through the Latter-day prophet Joseph Smith. I know that Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and through the simple act of prayer was able to begin restoring the gospel to the earth. I know that Joseph Smith was and is a virtuous man and that through divine inspiration and guidance translated the Book of Mormon. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that the events which are recorded in the sacred book did happen and that we have been given the knowledge of them to become better people. I know that the Bible is also the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. Together, these two books boldly manifest of the divinity of the Saviour Jesus Christ and the reality of his life and ministry. I know that God is guiding us today through our beloved Prophet Thomas S. Monson and that through the counsel he provides us we will be blessed with joy, love, prosperity and peace through our obedience and choice. I testify that these things are true and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through attending my weekly church activities. I had the privilege of teaching primary age boys which helped me become a better teacher, friend and missionary. I also love to worship and serve in the temple as much as I can because I feel closer to God when I am there.
