Hi I'm Jenny

I am a homemaker, a quilter, I grew up on a farm, I'm a grandmother of 8.

About Me

I am a mother of four, I am a retired homemaker. I grew up in Vermont.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. The Lord was directing me before I became a member of the church. We do not always recognize when these things are happening. But in hindsight we can see the Lord's hand in all we do. I love the church and the organization of it and continue to learn every day.

How I live my faith

I am a Ward Missionary. A couple years ago I noticed a new person in church sitting alone. I introduced myself and sat with her. I invited her to lunch after church at my home. We became friends over the next few weeks. Later she told me that if someone did not speak to her or sit with her that day at church that she would not come again. This was her first time back at church after being inactive for about 13 years. She came faithfully to church ever Sunday after that visit. When she moved to another state and we kept in contact. She told me that her son in law joined the church and they have all been sealed in the Temple. How easy it is to befriend newcomers at church and truly become their friends.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?
