Hi I'm Anthony

I grew up in a small town. I got my Eagle Scout award. I'm about to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm pretty much a geek. I love to read and write and play video games. I love acting and music, and I like to be creative and expressive. I tried college but it wasn't for me, at least not right now. I'm about to serve my mission in Australia, it'll be the first time I've ever been out of the states and away from my family for any great length of time. I like the adventure of it. I've been LDS all my life and can't really think of a reason why I wouldn't want to be. That's who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life which has made it easier and harder in ways for me. I've made my share of mistakes during the more uncertain years of my life but I know that this church is true and that it's the church I want to be a part of. I believe that Jesus Christ is the savior of mankind and loves all of us unconditionally. He wants us all to return to him, he's given us the path and he's waiting to help us take it. All of us. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His restored gospel as it was in His days, I know it with all of my heart and I want to be able to help other people know it as well, despite my weaknesses. I know that He chose Joseph Smith as the prophet to restore His church to the earth and I know that since its restoration He has chosen the leaders, from Joseph Smith to Thomas S. Monson, for this church. I believe that President Thomas S. Monson leads this church today. I know all of this to be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I help teach the class for new members and investigators of our church. I really like it because it helps me learn the principles myself and I also get to understand more of what an investigators questions will be, and what is more confusing than other things about our religion. It'll be extremely helpful to me for the future as I get more comfortable in sharing my religion with others.
