Hi I'm Ann

I am a Mormon. I was raised in an old historic town in Southwestern Utah. I raised my family and became a Nurse and love to Index

About Me

I am a recent Widow but have a great family whom I love to visit especially my 26 grandchildren. I love to sing in choirs, music, reading, sewing quilts and making other things for my grandchildren, handiwork like Cross stitch, crocheting, knitting and tatting. I recently started making jewelry. I am a Retired Nurse and loved doing Home Health. I also love Indexing which is putting information from legal records online for Family Search.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it teaches me where I come from and where I am going. It gives me a path that I can follow in getting back to my Heavenly Father. It also provides me a way that I can serve others and better myself. My testimony is my life. I don't have to wonder if I want to do something wrong because I have already made my decision about what to do. I know that God and Jesus Christ are real and are there to help me keep going.

How I live my faith

I have always been active in the LDS Church. Teaching classes and helping with the Music. I also like to Index which is putting Legal Records online so people can search out their grandparents through Family Search. I love to teach people how to Index and whenever I travel I Index. I always have someone ask what I am doing or tell me they love genealogy. It is a way to serve.

What do Mormons believe about family?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are all about families. It is the basic unit. Everything that we do is to strengthen the family. Without my family I would be nothing, alone and unhappy. My greatest joy come from my family and seeing them live good lives. In loosing my husband last year, I have the comfort in knowing that we will be together in the life here after. Show more Show less
