Hi I'm Kye

I grew up in Ontario, Canada. I Love traveling, spending time with my family, playing sports and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing piano and staying fit. I've just completed my last year of high school and I am serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Afterwards I will be attending University to further my education and one day have a family of my own. I enjoy playing sports such as running, soccer, and basketball. I am the oldest sibling of my large family and love spending time with my younger brother and sisters. I love the cool weather in Canada and the many different lifestyles. I enjoy all kinds of movies and try to put the Lord first in all that I do. I Love to learn and especially love the Scriptures. Learning of the spiritual things of this world is my first priority and I also love gaining secular knowledge as well. I love to be around and helping people as that is what matters most.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in this church and have never wanted to leave it. When I was 14 years old, I was going through a rough time in my life and I didn't yet have a strong testimony of the church, but I knew always did know that it was true and the Spirit of Christ had always confirmed that to me wherever I went and whatever I was doing. When I was almost 15 years old. I finished the Book of Mormon. I prayed to know if what I read was true and I received a very strong answer in my heart through the Holy Ghost that this Book was written by God's prophets and that Joseph Smith restored it in this day and age and that the book is indeed true. From that moment on, my testimony and belief began to grow in the other teachings of Jesus Christ's gospel. I received a testimony that Jesus Christ atoned for all our sins and died for each and everyone one of us. He loves us all and we need to strive to be just like him. I also realized that since the Book of Mormon is true, I needed to live a better life and apply the stories in the Book of Mormon to my life and live them. Since that young age I was at, I followed Heavenly Father's commandments and have done my best to be a disciple of him in all that I do. I testify that there is a living Prophet on earth today and his name is Thomas S. Monson. I know that if you just pray to Heavenly Father with a sincere heart, having real intent (Moroni 10:4), he will reveal to you that this church is true. I love the feeling of goodness and truth that comes from this Church. I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us beyond our own understanding. That we have divine potential in this life as we gain an understanding who we really are. I know that from the power of God that resides in this church that I can multiply my talents and become a better person. That there is purpose for life, peace and happiness ahead all because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice for us.

How I live my faith

I am the pianist that often plays during sacrament and priesthood meetings at church. Right now I am serving a 2 year mission of the church and giving all my time and efforts to serving Jesus Christ and others. Nothing brings me more joy than to share this restored gospel and the light and truth that it has brought into my life.
