Hi I'm Anne

I live in Decatur, Georgia. I know the Gospel is true. I love missionary work! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went inactive for 20 years, and in 1979 I came back. I've been married in the Temple, and divorced. I have no children. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true and living church on the face of the earth today! I have a bird who gets very loud at times, when he wants attention. His name Fugal, but I should call him "Pacer" because he paces like an expectant father at times. I oil paint, I'm an artist. I crochet, I like to walk around in the mountains and in the parks. I love the ocean, being raised in California, where the ocean was everywhere.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church, I was baptized at 8, and went inactive at age 14. I was inactive for 20 years, and I started going to a Protestant church, along with going to the Single Activities of the LDS church. Even though in the activities they didn't talk about the Church, but they lived it. I got confused and fasted for 3 weekends. That was when I received my testimony through Spencer W. Kimball, when he said "be obedient". I got in the car to go to the other church, but the closer I got, the louder those words echoed in my mind, so I turned the car around and went back to the conference that was on tv. Ever since then, I've stayed active, and never regretted the decision!

How I live my faith

I love to read and study the scriptures, go to the Temple, (when it's open). The Church is not a "one day a week" religion, but I live it every day of my life. I'm truly converted to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a strong testimony of missionary work. I used to say "I don't know any non-members" but I do, who are doctors, repairmen, and I have plenty of Book of Mormons to hand out, along with my testimony!
