Hi I'm Nathan McQuarrie

I grew up in Provo Utah, served my mission in Manila, the Philippines, and am currently studying at Brigham Young University.

About Me

I enjoy skiing, running, reading books, drawing and painting, and being with my friends and family. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and my family are the most important things in my life. I also love to learn, and am enjoying my time as a student at BYU. I want to make the most of my life, and hope to have a positive influence and impact on as many people as possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, because I prayed long and hard to know if it is Christ's true church. I've received many answers reaffirming to me that the church is true, and I know that now without a doubt, and have also experienced the great happiness, peace, and joy that comes from living the precepts of the Gospel and the church. I'm also a Mormon, because I now that through living the Gospel faithfully, I will be able to live with my family and God eternally after this life, and that is my greatest goal.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the way I live my day-to-day life. One step at a time, with a focus on Christ. I ask myself, "what can I do today that will help someone else," or, "how can I be more Christlike in the way I interact with other people." I believe that if you have a firm understanding of the doctrine of Christ, and pray for help, then you will naturally live in a way that reflects your faith.
