Hi I'm Rustyn

I live in Wyoming, I live on a ranch, and love to rodeo (Team Roper) and play basketball. Im a mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest child of 4 in a wonderful family. I enjoy Rodeo and basketball. I am six foot 5, and graduated from high school in 2013. I spent one year at college until deciding to serve a mission. I live on a ranch in Wyoming and have spent many years working on it. I have been involved with 4-H and High School Rodeo in the state of Utah as well as FFA, I played basketball and baseball all four years of high school. I am from a very small town community. I graduated with a class of thirteen kids and am proud to have grown up in a small country setting, where i have been taught how to work hard and gained valuable life lessons.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and i couldnt be more thankful. I have been raised in this church and it truly has blessed my life. Although i have encountered many bumps and bruises in my young lifetime i have always felt how strongly my father in heaven loves me. The examples in my life and the example of our savior Jesus Christ have shown me that this gospel is true. I have came to find it out for myself. There was a time in my life where the gospel didnt seem as important. Those were the darkest days for me. When i turned to god he was there for me, i was able to become the man i have always wanted to be through him. With the gospel as a top priority in my life i have seen everything in an eniterly new way. This gospel has changed my life for the better and i will always do all that i can for it. My past may have days that were cloudy and dark but my future is brighter than ever. Despite any struggles or challenges i have had or will face i know i can get through them with the lord at my side. I honestly could not be more blessed, i am so thankful for the wonderful examples god has given me and i owe so much to the people in my life who have always believed in me. This includes our god and jesus christ. Knowing all that Christ has done for us inspires me to do all i can for him. I know he died so that we may all live again. And that makes me want to give all that i can to my fellow beings. That is why a mission is for me. So that i can bring others unto a gospel that has given me so much. So that we may all live again. I know this church is true, i know it was restored by a prophet of god in Joseph Smith. Everything i hold dear to me is inspired from this wonderful gospel. I am willing to give all i can to this church, my fellow beings, Jesus Christ, and my god. And although i may encounter many defeats, i must not be defeated. And i know i can not lose with this wonderful gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a variety of diffrent ways. For me service is a large part of everyday life in a ranching community. We love to help each other out, and do what we can for each other. Jesus Christ spent his whole life in service. He did all he could for others including dying for us so that we may live again. I see service as a way we can become closer to our savior and value service as one of the greatest blessings in our life. I have had the wondeful opportunity to be a home teacher in my own community and in an entirely new setting while at college. Being able to visit members is truly wonderful, i have watched it help them as well as myself. I am currently preparing for a Mission, and beyond excited for the chances of service that will be placed before me. I know it is the right thing to do, and i understand it wont be easy but i know it will be worth it. I strive to be the best example i can be to those around me so they may be able to see the way this gospel has influenced my life. I cannot wait to share it.
