Hi I'm Lauren Brooke Holly Baker

I am a dental assistant. I played drums for 7 years. I am super outgoing and love meeting new people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the church. I enjoy all genres of music and Broadway. I am a sports fanatic, I love to watch but I am not very skilled. I enjoy the dental field. I am a people person and I love meeting new people. I love to laugh. I enjoy being outdoors. I am from a small town where there is not much to do so I enjoy spending time with my family and learning more about the gospel. I am married to a wonderful man whom I can call my sweet eternal companion. I serve in the Primary Presidency as 2nd counselor and chorister.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen what life would be like without the church in it. I was lost and confused. I was lonely and hurt. I am a Mormon because I know this is where I am to be. I know that my Savior loves me, and I try my best to show that love through everything that I can. I am a Mormon because I know the church is true. It is my life, my rescue, my family, my home. No matter where you go in this world there is someone you can reach out to and who knows the pain that you feel, and he is just a prayer away. I am so grateful to have been born into such an amazing church. There is truly nothing bad that you can say about the church. We are kind, always willing to serve, normally we are always smiling and happy. Why wouldn't any one want to be a member? I am a Mormon not because I was born into the church, but because I choose through my agency to be. And I am so grateful for the many opportunities I have had in my life to be an example for the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel as much as I can with my friends and family. I was the only member in my school so I was always looked at differently, so I tried my best to be the way Heavenly Father wanted me to be. I pray often, and try my best to help others out. I am not always the best at reading my scriptures as much as I should but my husband is always there to help me out. I love listening to General Conference talks and reading the Ensign. I am always listening to LDS music to bring the spirit. I love teaching children the gospel. I can not wait till my family will start growing so I can live my faith and teach my children. I live my faith by doing what the Lord has commanded us to do, the primary answers: go to church, read my scriptures, ponder and ask questions to learn more, keep the commandments. I also thoroughly enjoy going to the temple every chance I get so I can feel my Saviors love and to grow more fully in the gospel.
