Hi I'm Paul

I'm a showmaker. I'm a missionary. I love singing and composing. I'm a big brother. I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of eight children and have many wonderful siblings, cousins, and other family members. I love my family! I have a passion for anything to do with making shows (both live and on camera)–writing, performing, lighting, sets, special effects, camera work/editing–I love it all! I love music and the power it has to teach us and change us. I don't play any instruments very well, but my heart is full of song and I attempt to write down songs occasionly. I have great love for children and I look forward to helping the elementary school with their musicals and plays each year. My favorite TV show is Mister Rogers Neighborhood and I have great admiration for Fred Rogers. Besides the messages of truth he shared I have a hobby of learning whimiscal/triva details about the show. I also have a passion for studying the scriptures and sharing the joyous tidings of the gospel. My favorite book is The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful for my Heavenly Father who loves me so much and my Savior who has given everything so that I can live with Them in happiness forever!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed with a family and ancestors who left a legacy of faith and shared with me the gospel. I have asked Heavenly Father personally to know if this church is true, to know of the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, to know if Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and if Thomas S. Monson is a prophet today, to know if Heavenly Father loves me. And He has answered me, in quiet simple ways, feelings of peace in my heart and comfort to my soul. Now that I have entered the temple and received the blessings and Spirit that come from from the covenants, I know of a surety more than ever before that this is the true church of God upon the earth today. Simply, I'm a Mormon, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because it's true–it is the Savior's church restored again to the earth and led by His living prophets. I'm a Mormon not because it's easy, but because it is joyful!

How I live my faith

I love the gospel and I love sharing it! I'm not afraid to open my mouth and talk about the things that help being me and others joy! I try to be a worthy example of the Savior's name and remember him and the sacred covenants I have made with Him in all I do. I love the scriptures and "feasting" on their delicious words. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me perfectly no matter what, who cares for me and is near, and who listens to me and wants to help me. The power of prayer is real! I also have a great love for the temple and go there as often as I can (usually each week). I am now just about to leave to serve a two-year full-time mission and share this gospel that I love so much with others! Then they can receive the glorious blessings of the temple too!
