Hi I'm Rhett

I grew up in South Jordan, Utah. I have an amazing family and Im a Mormon.

About Me

I love reading. Period. Give me an article on the current events in Africa or the complete Lord of the Rings Trilogy and either way I'd be happy. I love to play the piano and belt my heart out. I love being outside and you could find me on a mountain trial more often than not. I live to build relationships and connect with people. It's how I live, it's what I love. I doodle, sketch, and draw and pretend I'm an artist. I just graduated high school and I plan on attending BYU in two years after I return from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Because of this light and comfort I know that this Church is more than just a bunch of people meeting together every Sunday. It is the restored Gospel of our Savior Jesus Christ, and everything comes from him. It provides the knowledge of a loving and caring Father in Heaven who desires nothing more than our return to him. We also believe in a means by which we can communicate with him whenever we wish and that is through personal prayer. Prayer is the most amazing and powerful gift that our Father in Heaven has given to us. It allows us to communicate and connect with him every single time we choose and there is nothing more comforting than knowing you are NEVER alone and that you always have someone to hear you out and understand you. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith everyday in everything I do. That's the beauty of this gospel. It isn't just something you do on Sundays and it's not just words that make you feel good. This gospel is a way of life that changes you and your life for all that's good. You make decisions and choices each day that alter the way you live your life and ultimately make you the best you could possibly imagine. I leave on my mission to Kennewick, Washington on July 16th and I know that I will be able to bring the truth and light to the people there. It has blessed my life more than I could possibly describe in words and brings comfort to me always.
