Hi I'm Matt

Born in Brazil, grew up in Utah. I love the thrill of competition and I hope to be a doctor one day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports. Its all I do, I love watching the grind and the years of work coming together and competing. Just the thrill of competition gets my heart beating. Even though my competing days are over, that won't stop me in the future. I plan on going to Medical School, Where and What are the question; I don't know yet. I love helping other people out, because I feel like I am making the world a better place.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but that wasn't enough. I needed to know if there was a God and why hasn't he helped me. One day I decided to follow everybody's example and to read the Book of Mormon and then Pray about it. I did so and I knew. I just knew that this is the word of God and that he did not forget me, but I forgot him. From that point on, I have tried my best to live his example in all that I do. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Live and they want all of us to return to them.

How I live my faith

I am on a LDS mission right now in Washington D.C. I left family, friends and my comfort zone behind to work, help, and share. The Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is True. I live it 24/7 by studying the scriptures (Bible and Book of Mormon) and obeying all of God's Commandments.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

God gave us families so that we can learn, grow and strengthen each other. Life is hard with families, imagine without one. Also, our purpose in life is to prepare to live with god one day. By having families, we are preparing to return to our heavenly father. Our families do not last until we die, but rather for all eternity. How great is that. I can be with my family forever. And so can you. Show more Show less
