Hi I'm Pete

I am a Filipino. I am a hobbyist photographer, an avid basketball fan. I am a husband and a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love books. I love writing. I am a hobbyist photographer. I am an avid basketball fan like most of the guys here in the Philippines. We always have a day set for basketball games. It is an awesome form of exercise as well as a way to form friendship. I am married to a beautiful and caring wife and a father to a bubbly little girl. I am trying my best to fulfill my role and provide them with everything they need. They are most dear to me.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my father and my mother were baptized 6 years before I was born. Growing up in a family where the gospel was taught, one would likely think of raising a faithful child, but that was not my story. I longed for answers to tons of questions. I became impatient and rebellious. Sooner I found myself drifting away from the Church. It was the darkest phase of my life, fortunately I have a wonderful family who became the beacon of light. Slowly as I try to follow the commandments I found answers to my questions as I Strengthened my testimony about the restored gospel. I am not perfect but what I am now is a better person trying to emulate the ways of being a true Christian.

How I live my faith

I really enjoy going to Church with my family. There, I am learning how to be a better father, a better husband and a better friend. There, I am honing my leadership skills as well as helping others to be better leader as well. Being a Mormon is way of life. It is a culture embedded in my very being.I strive hard to follow our faith's tenets and in doing so I am blessed abundantly. I am not perfect, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Slowly, step by step, I am a work in progress.
