Hi I'm Kaylee Rae Simmons

I love acting. I love my family and I love eating jello. I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

About me...Well, I love singing, acting and reading. My favorite books are fiction and fantasy and the scriptures :) I have been acting for 10 years and have had the opportunity to participate in several musicals such as Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and The King and I. I am going on a mission! I almost have my college associates degree.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen for myself to be a Mormon because of the feeling I feel when I pray about the Book of Mormon and about church. I grew up in the Mormon faith and I have come to know for myself, through prayer and personal revelation, that it is true. I know that for myself and want to share that belief with others. We are all of God's children and should have the opportunity to hear the gospel and learn for ourselves. My conversion to the gospel over my short 20 years has been like a sunrise; slowly, but surely, I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that through Him I can accomplish anything he would have me do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Giving service makes me have such a good feeling and helps me better love the people I serve. I also love sharing the gospel with others. Being able to share what I believe and how it has changed my life is such a blessing that I want to share with everyone :D

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Kaylee Rae Simmons
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have the privilege of donating 10% of my income to help build the kingdom of God. Since God has given us everything we have on this earth, our families, our shelter and food, I am glad to be able to help the church continue grow as I pay tithing. Though it may be small to some, or large to others, the Lord has given each of us the opportunity to pay 10% so that it is equal for everyone. The blessings I have received from paying tithing are innumerable and I can't even imagine what my life would be like if I didn't pay my tithing. Show more Show less
