Hi I'm Meg

I grew up in Alaska. I'm an athlete. I'm a reader. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports and think that it can really bring people together. Basketball is my favorite sport and I had the opportunity to play two years of college ball. I love the gospel and am excited to serve my 18 month mission in Germany!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints but I never really was truly converted until I went to college my first year. I was all by myself and I had to choose for myself if going to church and living the gospel was really the right, true thing to do or if it was something I did for my parents. I grew to love the gospel and I read the Book of Mormon with an open mind for the first time. I loved it and prayed about it and knew it was true. The Book of Mormon is something I hold dear, the accounts of the prophets and their lives really strengthens me and its so neat to read about them and realize they were real people. I love this gospel and am so blessed to be able to share this happiness I feel with others around me. I can't wait to see what the rest of my mission has in store for me.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in the Alpine-German speaking Mission! So far it has been such a blessing and by teaching others and helping other come unto Christ I am growing and learning myself. Before my mission, I had the opportunity to serve in different callings in the church. My first calling was to teach 3-5 year olds and it really blessed my life. They have such an innocence and sweet spirit about them. I also was a young single adult representative and helped plan fun and spiritual activities.
