Hi I'm Erin

I'm an avid reader. I'm a loving daughter. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest of six kids. I graduated high school in Washington where I enjoyed being on the swim team for all 4 years. I'm a huge reader. I practically inhale books and I love medieval history. I've never been out of the United States but I'm about to serve a mission in Copenhagen, Denmark and I am incredibly excited!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life. And though I had some doubts growing up, I can't deny the happiness and the great calm that comes over me when I say my prayers, when I read the Book of Mormon, when I go to church and listen to other's experiences and their testimonies of the truthfulness of the gospel. Especially when I read the Book of Mormon, not only do I feel happy, I function better in the work I am doing, and I physically feel better. When I was going to school, the things I was being taught were easier to understand, and my school work was a piece of cake to finish. I am a better person all around when I read the Book of Mormon. I have never had any huge experience that has convinced me to be a Mormon, but it's the little things throughout my entire life that has kept me in this faith.

How I live my faith

I have been participating in church since I was a kid, and helping plan activities and service opportunities since I was 12. But I live my faith in more ways than just participating in church. I live my faith in the way I live my life by trusting in the Lord in everything I do and being an example to all of my friends and family.
