Hi I'm Lucas Mann

I was born in Salt Lake. I'm a student and a volunteer. I'm on my way to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Lucas Mann. I was born in Salt Lake City and have lived here my whole life. My childhood consisted of slip'n slides, popsicles, bb-guns, going to our family cabin, and of course enjoying the company of my brothers and friends. I recently graduated High School with a 4.0 and memories to last a lifetime. My hobbies include golfing, tennis, skiing, camping, kayaking, long boarding, and wasting time with good friends. I am going to be a Missionary in the Salta, Argentina Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that this is Jesus Christ's one true church. I have gained my testimony over the past 8 years by the power of the Holy Ghost. Through prayer the Holy Ghost has confirmed to me over and over the truthfulness of this gospel. James 1:5 says "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Prayer is one of the things I value most in this life. Being able to get on my knees and talk to Heavenly Father is what makes the rough days a little smoother. This church has brought me so much happiness. I take joy in knowing the plan of salvation. I strive to live my life like Jesus Christ. I am happy to say I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example to others. I always try to treat people the way I would want to be treated and try to surround myself with happy and uplifting people. I have never been forced by my parents to go to church. I have always gone because "I" wanted to. So because of this I have gone to church, done my duties with a smile, applied the principles of the gospel to my life, and gained a testimony for myself. I am now on my way to serve a Mission.
