Hi I'm Dillon

I was born and raised in Utah. Graduated from Spanish Fork High. I have been called to serve a mission in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Dillon I really enjoy playing basketball and longboarding. I love to spend time each summer in Lake Powell with my family. I enjoy wake boarding and especially love riding my dirt bike in the Mountains. I am an eagle scout. I have three brothers and one sister. I will be leaving for a mission on the 23 of July 2014 I have been called to serve in the Mexico, Ciudad Obregon mission. I report to the Provo MTC. I have graduated from high school with high honors and was on student council.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the gospel. My parents were members, but they were inactive for along time and after my older brothers birth they felt they needed to be sealed in the temple so they decided to go to the temple when I was born and my family has been active ever since. For along time I was riding off of my parents testimony, but around the age of when I was a teacher I decided I wanted to find out for myself if the church was true I read the Book of Mormon and prayed and had one of the greatest peaceful feelings. That's when I know this church is the one true church. As I have continued to grow and learn in this church I found so much happiness, not just short term but long term and eternal happiness. The things the church asks us to do may be hard, but I have found out that the Lord and his servants (prophets & apostles) know much more than we do and what will help us more in the long run even though it may seem difficult. I am so grateful for this church and the things we are asked to do. No one is perfect, but through this church we can be made perfect. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

How I live my faith

I participated in seminary during the school year, my ward does several service projects and I try to participate in them as much as I can. I have been to a service camp called RYLA which is hosted by all rotary clubs across state of Utah. I am a home teacher with my dad and we have two families we visit and absolutely love being there home teachers.
