Hi I'm Davis

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I'm an accountant. I live in Florida with my wife of 20 years and five children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of one daughter and four sons, ages 19 to 9. I have been married to my wife for 20 years. I like watching and talking about sports. I have a Master's Degree in Business Administration. I work for a Not-for-profit company. I am an Accountant.

Why I am a Mormon

I've very grateful to my parents who taught me about the Mormon church while I was a child. I was baptized by my father at age 8. Accepting Jesus Christ and committing my life to Him is the best thing I could do. When I read the scriptures and pray I find answers to challenges in my life. Reading the scriptures by myself and with my wife and children bring me peace and happiness. The teachings in the scriptures and from the church leaders give me guidance to the best blessings that our Heavenly Father has for his children.

How I live my faith

In my church, I serve on a committee that plans activities and assists in worship activities. I really enjoy seeing other people have fun and be able to worship the Lord. I have opportunities to speak to the youth and adults. Sharing what I've learned about the Gospel of Jesus Christ is very rewarding. My family and I study the word of God and pray together frequently. We have a goal to do it everyday. We attend church together weekly.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Davis
My understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ grew as I prepared and served a full-time two year proselyting mission in Honduras for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The teachings of Jesus Christ are the best things in the world and I want everyone to know the happiness they will have from living the gospel. I want to take every opportunity to share the gospel with others. Show more Show less
