Hi I'm Rachel Jamison

I love my family, friends, and Disney movies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a fun, life-loving 14 year old. I am the youngest of five children. I get along with and love my siblings and my parents. My free time consists of reading, listening to music, singing, hanging out with my friends and family, and having fun. I love to laugh and joke around with my friends and to meet new people. My best talent would be quoting movies. I can quote almost any Disney movie, many word for word... almost at least. One of my sisters and I are totally in sync. We can finish each other's sentences, quote movies at the same time, and be thinking the same things. We have a bond that is crazy-awesome. It is not just that sister and me that have an amazing bond. I have a special connection with each of my siblings. I'm a very happy and goofy teenager who loves life and cant wait for what else it has in store.

Why I am a Mormon

I am so glad to have had the privilege of growing up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has grown so much stronger over the past few years. I often wonder how my life would have been different had I not been born into this church. I feel that I would not have lived my life to its full potential. It has blessed my life in so many ways and my family as well. I strive to be the best person I can be each day. Even though I make mistakes and sin just like everyone else does, I know I can repent and be forgiven of those sins as long as I do my best and try to live worthily to return to my Heavenly Father. I love the gospel so much and I have a strong testimony of its teachings. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

While I love going to the movies, swimming, or just hanging out with friends and family, I also love going to church on Sunday and youth activities during the week. While in Sunday school, I share my opinions, answer questions, and try to keep our classroom a reverent place where my classmates and I can learn more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to give service to people who are in need. My young women's class has visited older women in our ward who are in need of help or that we felt would just enjoy a visit. My family has participated in many service projects and helped with Eagle Scout projects over the years. As a family, we study the scriptures and often have discussions about what we have been reading, ending our studying with a family prayer every night.
