Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I'm a mechanical engineering student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college student studying mechanical engineering. I also work part time for the university. When I have time to do fun things, I like to go hiking, swimming, mountain biking, fishing, frisbee golfing, regular golfing, long-boarding, dirt-biking, boating, rock climbing, watching movies, surfing the internet, eating, talking with friends and family, camping, fishing, snowboarding, being a goof ball, playing any sport, and lots more. I consider myself a pretty average guy, with maybe an above average fear of girls, (I'm working on overcoming that fear). I hope to be the husband of a beautiful girl someday, with whom I can start a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church. It was something I did before I really knew what I was doing. I never felt obligated or overly pressured to stay. It was always my choice. When I got older, I began to have experiences where the spirit testified to me that this is Christ's only true and living church. I know that there is a God, and that He is our loving Heavenly Father. I know that He gave His Son Jesus Christ to the world that through Him we might obtain forgiveness, improve, and return to our Heavenly home. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It helps us understand more about this life, and our purpose here. I love this church. It provides me with many opportunities to serve others, and to live the Gospel. I know that when we keep God's commandments He blesses us. True peace and happiness come from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love to study the words of the prophets. I find peace and comfort in praying to God. I enjoy serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I attend Sunday meetings weekly where I participate in teaching and sharing my experiences with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I volunteer my time to help organize and carry out service activities for our community. I help coordinate regular visits by our brethren to the members within our boundaries. I also participate in those regular visits.
