Hi I'm Rachael Feil

Getting ready to serve in the Ohio Cincinnati mission! Love my Savior, my family, and God's creations. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 19 years old, and I lived in Visalia, California for 15 years before moving to Provo, Utah for college. I just recently finished my first year, and am now currently preparing to serve a mission for the LDS church in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission. College has been the best experience for me! I have had a blast meeting new people with similar beliefs, and I am beyond grateful for the opportunity I have had to grow spiritually as I have continued to attend church and fulfill church callings. A little bit about me: I just love traveling. I have been on two amazing trips to Europe, and I have visited the East side of the country multiple times. I hope to have many opportunities to travel in the future. I also love food, and I love movies. And when I can find a great book, reading is my favorite thing to do. I have three older brothers and a little sister, and I love them very much. We are very close to each other, and also to my parents. I'm sure grateful to be a part of the Feil family!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, so for many years I followed my parent's example and went to church with them. Then it came time for me to go off to college, and it became my decision as to whether or not I would continue going to church on my own. That was probably the easiest decision I have ever made, because I love this church, so of course I will continue to attend church meetings! I can't think of any defining moment where I just knew that the church was true, but I have felt the Spirit so many times in my life; I could never deny that this is the true church. I have seen small, everyday miracles that remind me of God's love not only for me, but for all of His sons and daughters. My grandma has had some issues with her heart in the past, and I know that she is still here today because of the power of Priesthood blessings and prayer. Our Heavenly Father gave His life for us, so that we could live and learn from His example to help and inspire others to be kind and loving as He is. He provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins, because no matter how hard we may try, we can't be perfect during this mortal life. There is forgiveness and repentance in all things. No matter how much we mess up, we can fix things. And we can help others see that there is always hope, and that no matter what, there is someone out there who loves us despite our faults and our sins who will help us if we are humbled enough to ask Him for help. This gospel has had a huge influence in my life and the way I choose to live it. "I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it." This gospel encourages all to do good, and to be good, and it will guide us on the right path so that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father after our time here on Earth is finished. I will always be grateful that I have it in my life, and I am so glad to be sharing this light with others as I serve a mission!

How I live my faith

Beginning on September 16, I will start my 18-month mission for the church in areas around Cincinnati, Ohio, where I will teach others of the blessings that this gospel can bring to the lives of the sons and daughters of God.
