Hi I'm Christian Sorensen

I grew up in Provo UT, love playing football, and guess what, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy all kinds of sports, playing video games, and just hanging out with my friends. I am going on a mission, but afterwards I intend to continue my schooling at Brigham Young University. I enjoy all kinds of sciences but am thinking about majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out life as a Mormon, my parents and their parents were Mormon, and it seemed like a good idea at the time, but I'm still a Mormon because I love the idea that families are eternal, that god is a loving father, and that people are basically good. These ideas, and many others ring true to me and give me hope for the future.

How I live my faith

I am going to teach about my beliefs in the Northern half of France for two years. I have previously taught classes about understanding some of our scriptures, including the old testament of the bible and the newly revealed truths that we call the Doctrine and Covenants. I have also spent a lot of time with youth groups in the church going on activities, campouts, and just generally having a good time.

Are Mormons Christians?

Christian Sorensen
Yeah we're Christians, but you know, I'm ok if people don't want to call us that. I believe that Jesus Christ is my savior, but I don't believe in the trinity. I believe that it is by Grace we are saved, after all we can do. Mormons believe in Christ as the son of god and as our savior, but not as the same personage as heavenly father. It doesn't matter what we're labled, as long as we know that Christ saved us each individually. Show more Show less
