Hi I'm Weston Jones

I love to play guitar, and to listen to music, I love to do service for those in need, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the youngest of 11 children but when I was only four years old my mother passed away. This is a big burden on my family and I, but it has also made my testimony grow so much stronger through this big trial in my life. I still haven't received an answer to my prayers of why this happened in my life but that doesn't mean I stop believing in prayer or having faith in this church and this restored gospel. Answers to prayers always come but not on our time only on the Lords time. Endure to the end with faith and an open mind and someday I know can have all of my prayers answered as can you. Never stop praying.... I love many types of music including alternative rock, classic rock, post hardcore, metal, classic rock and most of all pop punk. A few bands I listen to are The Story So Far, Of Mice & Men, The Wonder Years, Four Year Strong and many others. I love to play music in my free time. I have learned to play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar and ukulele, over the years. I also skateboard in my free time. I live near the boarder of Mexico and the U.S. and am a very conservative thinker. I have a call to Guadalajara Mexico to serve as a full time missionary. I am training in the Provo MTC. I am so excited to serve the people who are there and serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel through a long line of members, but that did not take away my ability to choose whether or not stay active. I have chosen to stay a Latter Day Saint because I have felt the spirit many times throughout my life. My testimony grows stronger daily and I know that someday I can return to heavenly father and that I may someday return to my earthly mother that is no longer with me.

How I live my faith

I have been a youth leader (first assistant to the bishop) in my ward for the past year where I serve the youth of my ward and plan activities for the youth to invite others to the gospel. I was recently released as I graduated from high school. October 15, 2014 I will leave for 24 months to serve a full time mission. I know this will bless me and my family as well.
