Hi I'm Ann Dressman

I live in Utah, I love to Irish dance, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Utah in the United States. I was born into a family that I don't know what they're doing or how they are. When I was really young, my birth mom couldn't take care of me or my birth brothers so she put us in foster care. I went to many foster homes but the last one really liked me so they adopted me into their family. Now I live in a great home. I come from a family of seven. When I was 11 years old, I started irish dance. I really enjoy irish dancing. I also play many instruments including the violin. This year I am starting 9th grade and going to a new school.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church by my adoptive parents. So when it was time for me to be baptized, I got interviewed by my bishop and had to answer some questions. I felt like it was time for me to be baptized so I decided that I would be baptized. I understood most of the things I was taught but not all. I became an Mormon because somehow I knew that it was right. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that Heavenly Father loves me and I love Him. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon. I love my family and know that I can be with them forever. This testimony means a lot to me because it helps get through life when it is hard.

How I live my faith

In my family, we pray, read the scriptures, and go to church on Sundays. Then on every Wednesday. we go do fun activities at the church. There are three reasons why I participate in this things. Firstly, I enjoy going because I feel like I have good friends and they are open to anyone. Secondly, its just a habit of going to these things. Lastly, I go because I feel peace and joy.
