Hi I'm David

I play basketball and tennis, I am serving a mission in Peru, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate who loves to play basketball and tennis. I love to cook, but I must admit that I am a much better eater! I am very excited to serve my mission and love the gospel. Even though I have been a member my whole life, my decision to serve a mission and my love for the gospel is something that I have gained for myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the church to be true. I have prayed and asked my Heavenly Father if the church is true and I have received an answer that it is true. The gospel makes so much since The Book of Mormon and The Holy Bible go hand in hand. I am grateful for the fact that we have a true and living profit on this Earth today. I know that he receives revelation from God to guide us in our lives. I am so blessed to have a testimony of these things, and by reading the scriptures and praying in earnest you will receive this testimony too!

How I live my faith

As a Christian we believe in emulating the life of Jesus Christ and what better way to exemplify Christ than through service. From trash cleanups to working at our church welfare farm I am thankful for the opportunities that I have to serve. I find that as I serve others I feel uplifted too. As Mosiah 2:16 says, "Behold, I say unto you that because I said unto you that I had spent my days in your service, I do not desire to boast, for I have only been in the service of God."
