Hi I'm Bryce

I love eating ice cream. I'm an avid Harry Potter fan. I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to do about anything. I love playing about any sport, from football to volleyball to soccer to golf. Whatever. I'm a huge fan of watching movies and playing video games. If you like to play Super Smash Bros, I'm there. I'm a really big nerd when it comes to Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and especially Harry Potter. I love playing the piano. I've played for about 13 years. Ice cream is probably my favorite thing in the world. One of my favorite pasttimes with my family before I left on the mission was when we all went down to the local grocery store and picked out our own half-gallon of ice cream. And then we'd go back and watch a movie or something. It was great! I love to learn. And I recently discovered that I love learning languages. Right now I'm a missionary serving in the Argentina Mendoza mission. I believe this is where I discovered my love of learning languages. I really want to learn Portuguese or Italian or both, in addition to the spanish I'm learning right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ has done more for me than any other person that has ever been on this earth. He can help me become clean from my sins and become a much better person than I could ever be on my own. I learned this through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know even in our darkest moments we're never alone. Christ is always there for us, if we just turn to him for help. One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is 2 Nephi 22:2 and it says: "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid, because the Lord Jehova is my strength and my song; he has also become my salvation." I love this scripture, and I know it's true. I know that we never have to be afraid about anything that happens in life, because if we put our trust in Christ, he will be there for us to help us through all the hard times. We're never alone.

How I live my faith

Right now I'm serving a mission in Argentina, Mendoza. The reason I decided to serve a mission is because of the knowledge I have of the Atonement. There are lots of people in the world who don't know or don't understand what Christ really did for them. I want to share with them that because of what Jesus Christ did for us, we can all be free and clean from the sins and mistakes we've made in life. In the best of times and in the worst of times Christ is always there for us. And after we die, because of him, we will all live again. What a blessing it is, really. And lots of people don't know that. And for that, I want to share what I've learned with as many people as I can.
