Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in St. George Utah. Business finance and am serving a mission in Milan Italy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big fan of sports and basically anything outdoors! I enjoy playing tennis, anything at the lake and lifting with my friends and family. I have a small family with only one sister, who I love to spend time with. We often go up to our family ranch and either work on the property or take our horses on a good long ride. I also enjoy business and have my junior year in business finance completed, and plan on going into financial consulting after graduating.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I could just say that I was born into a faithful Mormon family and that's why, but thats not the whole story. Its true that I have always been a member of the church, but I have not always had a testimony of it for myself. I have always believed the church was a good thing and that being a member could bless my life and that God liked my effort of being a member. When I was 17 however that started to change. I had a real hard time in my life and I felt that there was no where that I could turn, and that nothing could be done to help me. That is when a loving, faithful, member of the church suggested I ask God for help and start trusting that He could help me. Lo and behold I was able to receive help, not instantly but I definitely got it. That is what jump started my faith in the church again and that is how I started to truly build me testimony. I know that this church is true. I know without a shadow of a doubt that it can bless our lives and that the principle it stands by and preaches are for our benefit. I can say that I have lived in and out of activity and no matter the short term pleasure we can get from not living the gospel. It is not worth it in the end. I love this church. I know that God knows and loves each and every one of us and that he had a plan and a way back to him for each and every one of us, his children. No matter what trial or hardship we have, if we can show faith in him he will lift us up and help us. I know this is true with every fiber of my being and I thank God each day for the opportunity to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I currently am living my faith as a full time missionary for my church in the Milan Italy mission. I love this calling and have enjoyed every minute, (though mostly hard moments). Before my mission I participated in church by teaching a gospel principles/basic doctrine course every Sunday, and was an adviser for youth ages 12-16 in my home ward. In addition to teaching on Sundays I have participated in several service assignments and have had the opportunity to organize and participate in various projects for my community and church.
