Hi I'm Nicole Hirsch

Grew up in Utah until I was 16, now live in Texas. Also future missionary in the El Salvador San Salvador West Belize missoin.

About Me

My name is Nicole. I am 19 years old, and I love my church! I just graduated high school and am now currently getting prepared to serve a mission as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the El Salvador San Salvador West Belize mission. (Mormon). I will be learning the Spanish language and leaving to the Guatamala MTC December 27th 2014. During high school I enjoyed being in Choir and I did a little bit of track also. I love meeting people who are different than me. I now currently live in a place of many different ethnic backgrounds and many different religious backgrounds. I love to relate to people and become friends with people who are different than me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church. I have developed my testimony in the Church by putting my trust and faith in him and relying on his gospel. I love being a Mormon because there is this wonderful peace that you can have on a day to day basis by living and receiving the Holy Ghost that you can use in your day to day life. It truly has helped me in the trials in my life and made it more bearable to go through. I am so thankful for being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has given me an eternal perspective on life and truly has led me to see what is most important in this life. And that is returning home back to our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. Being a member of this wonderful church has also helped me understand history in a more clear way. By reading The Book of Mormon, which is another testiment of Jesus Christ. This book supports the Bible and makes things more clear. And they both testify of our Savior Jesus Christ. I love reading both of them and see how they relate to each other. Its absoultley wonderful being a member of this Church! I am a Mormon, and always will be.

How I live my faith

How I live my faith is by living our gospel standards and by teaching the young women in my church. I moved from Utah to Texas before my Junior year in High school. I went through a lot of changes during this time. I went to a high school of many people who did not share the same standards as me. I tried my best to be a friend and an example of my faith as I tried my best to live our gospel standards. If you want know some of our gospel standards look in our booklet called "For the Stength of Youth." In my church I was had the oppurtunity to teach the young women in my church on different gospel topics. I try my best to be diligent in keeping the commandments of the Lord. By keeping the commandments, it has helped me be free from the sin of the world. And has made my life easier being free from those harmful addictions and temptations in the world. And now currently I am preparing myself to become a missionary for our church. To teach about our Savior Jesus Christ, and how to apply him more into our lives. I want to spread the happiness and light the gospel of Jesus Christ has given to me in my life.
