Hi I'm Ammon Franklin

There are many things to know about me, but the most important is that I believe in Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There are many interesting things you could know about me: I backpacked through Yemen, I speak French, I lived in Egypt for five years, I'm a licensed teacher, ... but the most important is that I believe in Christ. I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

My belief in Christ has dramatically altered my path in life. It's not the things I do well that draw me to Christ, it's my faults. Yes, I try to be a good example, always available to serve, and focused on others, but it's when I fail at those things that I can rely on the virtue of the Savior. These and other hard times inevitably befall us and those we love, but with a focused faith in Christ we can feel of His redeeming love. I have felt the healing power of Christ's ultimate sacrifice in my life. My heart has been changed by His love. I know He lives and loves me. I know He loves you.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is about maintaining my personal virtue and serving those around me. The Church is a great place to find opportunities for service. King Benjamin said, "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God" (Mosiah 2:17). I am currently serving as the Single Adults Representative, a Ward Missionary, and a Gospel Essentials class teacher.
