Hi I'm Zachary Mann

I'm from Wisconsin. I enjoy the scenery of outdoors, and spending time with those I love!

About Me

I'm a 21 years old currently serving as a Missionary in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. I plan to attend college afterwards to study and become a Nurse. I have been an athlete throughout high school and practiced Springboard Diving and Lacrosse. I also have performed in an Accapella Choir and school musicals. I attended a high school where my family was the only active members of the LDS church and treasure the gospel for helping me through it I have worked as a lifeguard and Scout camp instructor for boy scouts. I purchased my first motorcycle when i was 16 and have loved the freedom of being able to ride since. Above all though, I have been a follower of Jesus Christ and am glad that the values instilled in me have kept me close to feeling his spirit. Serving in this capacity as a representative of Him as a missionary has taught me meekness and powerful communication skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He led his children in the times of Moses, Noah, and Abraham. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, and He established a church to facilitate the teaching of his children, so that they could find pure happiness and forgiveness despite temptations of this life that bring guilt and shame. His original Church fell apart after he suffered for our sins. Those that persecuted Him persecuted his followers until that Church was disbanded and then reformed without direction from God. I, along with millions of other, know that Christ's church has been restored by God. That prophets, who hold and delegate the power of God, exist today. That he placed his church upon this earth again to bring the blessings of baptism and the Gift of the Holy Ghost by the power of Priesthood authority. I have prayed and received an answer that no other church teaches a fullness of truth or contains this same authority. Part of this answer comes from the Book of Mormon, which stands as both a testimony of Christ, but also as a testimony of a man named Joseph Smith. He was called at a young age to restore the Church of Christ on the earth and given the power to translate the Book of Mormon from an ancient record of scripture written in an unknown language. This Book contains God's dealings to the Native Americans as he blessed them with his Gospel. We are all his children and he loves us more than we may comprehend. He does speak to us and reach out to us. I am grateful for the truths I have found here, in this Church. God's commandments are His. We do not dictate them though we must live by them, but we may discover them. Knowledge and truth precede righteous and correct action. I testify of these things which I have written and invite others to learn of it, pray for yourself, and act on it when you come to know it is true. See what it does for your life!

How I live my faith

I have learned that living my faith is shown by outward expressions, but it is all a result of what Christ has helped me become! He has molded me to be meek and given me desire to strengthen those around me. I'm still trying to become patient and understand those around me and see how I can help. It is what brings me the greatest joy, to inspire and increase the visions of those around me that they also may increase in happiness. So, I live my faith by learning of those around me and by seeking to be an influence for good. I hope that everyone can learn to follow the impressions they have to do good and be good, that is what comes from God. The rest of the world doesn't act that way, but we shouldn't fear doing it!
