Hi I'm Brandon Mattice

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm a Health Enthusiast. Sports Fanatic. Call of Duty Master. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from an awesome family with two siblings, landing myself right in the middle. I was raised just outside Tucson where I got to enjoy the desert and all the beauty it has to offer. I graduated in 2014 and left for my mission to Alaska shortly after. I love the sun and 100 degree temperatures so Alaska has been quite the adventure. I ran cross country, played basketball, and dominated the baseball diamond. I love to exercise and keep my body healthy. I also enjoy riding my ATV at the sand dunes, listening to music, camping, playing competitive Call of Duty, and watching college or professional sports. I've grown to love watching the Boston Red Sox and the Duke Blue Devils. I plan to go to college, study something that's has to do with health, and possibly play baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

Well I'm a Mormon because I grew up in it and that's all ive ever known... not! I was raised in the Church but I definitely had my doubts about it while growing up in my know it all teenage years. After sometime I finally did what I was taught my whole life and actually read the Book of Mormon. I have prayed about it and have come to know that it is a true book and the word of God through the Holy Ghost. From that I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith restored to this Earth the same exact church that Jesus Christ himself set up while he lived. I know that today we have a living Prophet that leads and guides us in these troubling times. I know that my Savior loves me and knows me personally by name. He suffered for me personally and knows how I feel at all times. Through His Atonement I can be forgiven of past mistakes and move on to becoming a better person. I love being Mormon.

How I live my faith

Growing up I was one of a few LDS members in my school. Instead of receiving criticism for my believes most of the time I was helped to live the LDS standards. I did my best to steer away from evil and wasn't the best example but we are not perfect. I went to church every week, attended the temple, and tried to go out with the missionaries when I had time. Now I am serving a two year mission in Alaska where I get to share how and why the gospel is everything to me and why it is true.
