Hi I'm Morgan Soelberg

I grew up all over in a Military family. I am serving a mission in Denmark, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

Where do I start?! I am currently serving an 18 month mission in Denmark, and I couldn't be happier! I absolutely love art and science! They both work together to create the most beautiful explanations of the world we live in! The more I learn about God's creations, the more I appreciate their complexity. As a Human Biology major in college, I find joy in learning more about the workings of our human bodies, a beautiful gift from God. As an amateur macro photographer, I find the small things in life that give so much inspiration and meaning to the much larger scale we operate in. When we count our many blessings, even those that may seem minuscule, we come to recognize the great love that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for us. I grew up in a Military Family, so I've had the experience of moving around often, leaving friends, and being separated from beloved family members for long periods of time; but I know that with the knowledge we gain through the Gospel of Christ, we can have peace and happiness in this life and the life to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel is True, and I cannot deny it. I am a Mormon because I recognize the need for Jesus Christ in my life. I am a Mormon because I love Christ's Gospel and the peace that it brings to my soul. I know that the truth I have found, through my own studying and searching, can help the lives of others. This is why I willfully give my life to the Lord, and why I am serving a Full Time mission for Him. I know that the Gospel of Christ is for everyone, no matter who they are, where they physically live, or where they are in this journey called life. I know that Christ Lives, and that He loves every single one of us uniquely. I know that through Joseph Smith, Christ restored His True Church on the Earth again, and that all mankind benefits from the peace and joy it brings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the things I do everyday. I love listening to and helping people, and I know that this has been magnified through Christ's Gospel! I love the way we can better understand our role and purpose on earth as we learn more about The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through Christ, I can feel love for those around me, and I can see that "every soul is great in the sight of God." Right now, I am serving an LDS mission in the Denmark. I love helping those around me, and being an example of Christ to others.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Morgan Soelberg
Christ not only suffered for our iniquities, but also for our inequalities. All the things in life that are difficult for us, and all the pains and dissapointments we experience, Christ knows perfectly; and He knows exactly how to help us!! No matter what happens in this life, as we turn to the Lord our God, we receive strength and support. Something I have thought a lot about lately would be that we cannot, and should not, pray that our circumstances and challenges in our lives will just be changed; but instead, we should pray that we can be strengthened and supported to deal with and overcome our circumstances. Because Christ has experienced all that we have gone through and will go through, He knows exactly who we can become in defiance to those challenges and weaknesses. We must allow ourselves to come to Him that is mighty to save, and mighty to change :) Afterall, ''God cares a lot more about who we are, and who we are becoming, than about who we once were,'' as Dale G Renlund taught us in the April 2015 General Conference. As we turn to Christ and accept His wonderous Atonement, we come to know Him even better, and in turn, learn to know ourselves better. We are able to cope with all that is thrown our way, and come out Champion :) Show more Show less
