Hi I'm Daniel Bellingham

I'm a math major, a sports enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the great state of Georgia and raised in Mooresville, North Carolina. Both of my parents were converts and all 8 of us brothers and sisters are so grateful for it. Growing up, sports were always my passion and I'm currently studying at BYU as a math major in order to pursue my dream job of becoming a sports analyst. Outside of sports and math, I love to write movie reviews, watch basketball, ball out, rock climb, go muddin, or just do anything that's fun!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church, many people would tell me that I was only Mormon because my parents were Mormon and it was so true, I never really had much of a testimony and at that time, church wasn't really important to me. I honestly decided in high school to be less active when I grew up. So where did the turn around come from? The thing is I never saw a huge in-your-face life changing moment, because my beliefs never really changed. I just realized that I wasn't living a life that supported what I believed in. It was then that I started once again to do those things I was supposed to and align my will with Gods. Once I realized that this gospel was the 100% most effective way to be happy, the decision to become a true disciple of Christ was simple. So, why am I a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? The reason that I am a Mormon is the same as every one else in the church: I have received a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that these things are true. I know that there is no other way under heaven that brings the same results, happiness, or change that this gospel brings. I love this Gospel and love the plan that Heavenly Father has laid out for us and invite all men everywhere to partake in the happiness that this gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my life according to my faith every day. I have found that daily prayer and scripture study are great in keeping me close to my Heavenly Father. I attend church each week and have had the opportunity to serve in many different callings. It a always feels good to be involved and know that you're making a difference. I am currently on a mission serving the Lord through the people of Taiwan for two years. I absolutely love these people and this glorious opportunity that I have to help them work towards the Celestial Kingdom. I also can't wait to be home and apply all the many things I learned about missionary work to help my own friends and family.
