Hi I'm Mike

I grew up in Rigby,Idaho. I graduated from Rigby High School. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball, football, soccer, and anything else with a ball. I have worked on a farm since I was ten years old and I just graduated from high school in May. After my mission in Bangalore, India, I will be attending college at Utah State, then medical school at the University of Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of Christ's church my whole life. My mother and aunt are the first active members of my ancestors. I will be the first to serve a mission in my family and the fourth in all extended family. I choose to continue following this gospel because when I see and feel the happiness that I feel within my home compared to the different atmosphere within homes where the gospel is not present, I want that to always be in my home. In addition, when I teach, learn about, or sit in company with others who believe this gospel, I can feel the spirit so strongly that it is undeniable. It is the best feeling I have ever experienced and I want to always have that feeling with me. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that what it says on those pages is true. I know that Christ lived and does live again and that Joseph Smith restored His gospel onto this earth so that all of us, God's children, can learn the way we need to live so that we can all go back to live with Him again after this life. I know that the God has appointed a profit to lead and guide us even now. His council is specific to our time just as Moses' was in his time, Noah's was in his, and Joseph Smith was in his.

How I live my faith

Since I turned 18 and received the higher priesthood, I attend different classes during church and since my ward is so new I do not have a home teaching companion yet. My calling is to serve a mission in Bangalore, India.
