Hi I'm Jenna Lee

I sing, write, and I just love life because I have a testimony of the gospel! And I'm a Mormon! :)

About Me

My name is Jenna and I'm 25 years old. I have been a singer my whole life and music is my passion. At fifteen, I discovered my love of writing, and I have been writing poems and songs and I am currently writing a book. I work out quite a bit too to keep my body healthy. Another thing I should mention is that I have Asperger's Syndrome. Because of it, some have bullied me and tried to pull me down and others have tried to change me into something I'm not. But I'm too busy proving them wrong to care about what they think! Over time, I have learned to function better with help from God and my loved ones. I served a full-time mission for the church in Tacoma, Washington from November 2014-June 2016. It has been a great blessing in my life and I have learned so much from the experience. Currently I'm at BYU Idaho studying elementary education with an emphasis in language arts. I love animals, especially dogs! And I'm quite the nerd! Yes, I enjoy books, anime/manga and Asian dramas. So that's me! ^.^

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of the church for many generations. I have always been active in the church, but I've had doubts as probably everyone in the church has. But a wise man told me to doubt my doubts before I doubted my faith. So I pray and study the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, and listen to the Holy Spirit. Then I know it's true. Jesus is the Christ, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church, and His gospel is restored upon the earth. By living it, so many incredible blessings have come into my life. Of course I have struggles, but God helps me through them. Most of the time, He helps me by sending many wonderful people to support me and love me for who I am. That is why I'm inspired to do the same for others. I want to be a tool in God's hands to lift people's spirits and make them happy. I think the best way for me to do that is through music because music has divine power to heal and invite the Spirit.

How I live my faith

My activity in the church gives me real purpose. Teaching is a wonderful thing because I get to bear my testimony often and let the Spirit enlighten many people. The most important thing I have learned about being a Mormon is that each and every one of us is a child of God and that He loves us. That means everyone deserves respect, kindness, and love unconditionally. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God and He has given all of us the ultimate example of how we should treat others. He was also the one who had to suffer and die for our sins, pains, and heartaches. Because of Him, we are able to repent for our wrongdoings and return to live with our Heavenly Father. Before my mission, I did my best to prepare to serve. I am doing my best to live what I learn. Before my mission, I have given out books of Mormon (or is it Book of Mormons? I don't know.) to some of my coworkers and friends and share the Gospel with them. I find joy in seeing others come unto Christ.
