Hi I'm Brady

I'm a proud Texan, love basketball, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born and raised in Texas and am now serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Hawaii. I just graduated high school where I was able to play varsity basketball. I am a pretty laid back guy and like to enjoy the little things in life. Over the years I have come to realize that this is also how God teaches us. Heavenly Father guides us slowly and quietly, but it is up to us to listen and even more importantly, to obey.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It has blessed me in so many ways throughout my life. Some may think it is too difficult to live the way our Heavenly Father wants us to live, but I can testify that it is not, for "..wickedness never was happiness" (Alma 41:10, Book of Mormon) Living the commandments gives me such an incredible confidence and peace. As long as I am doing my best to live the gospel I can "stand upright before God at the last day". I know that God answers prayers. I have prayed to know if this is Christ's restored church on the Earth today and received a resounding confirmation that it is indeed true.

How I live my faith

As a full time missionary, I spend all of my time teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. I try my best every day to be a good example to others and try to be more like our Savior, Jesus Christ. He told his disciples to, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." (Matt. 5:16) I live my faith by doing my best to follow his commandments and encouraging others to do the same.
