Hi I'm Alexandria B.

I'm an author. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was the vice president of my FFA chapter, senior year in high school. I enjoy camping and other outdoor activities with my family. My family is a big and important part of my life. We do almost everything together. I love to read and be outdoors. I love to hang out with my extended family; going on bike rides, flying kites, and so on. I have gone to one year of college and am now preparing for a mission. I am studying to be an author. I enjoy writing stories and poetry and sharing them with others. I have a love for good music and I love to sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because there is no better feeling in the world than having the Holy Ghost by your side to help guide you in your daily decisions. I cannot deny that I know this church is the true church and gospel of Jesus Christ. There have been times and trials in my life where I could see the work of God's hand. One example is, when I was in ninth grade my Uncle was diagnosed with cancer. I was devastated and didn't know what to do. His daughter was my age and she missed school for a few days while they were running more tests on him. In seminary I told my teacher about it and he suggested that we put his name on the class prayer roll. We then found out that it was not active and he would be fine. The next year when I was told that it had become active and he would have to undergo chemotherapy I wasn't as devastated. When I heard the news I felt a warm blanket of peace wrap around me, letting me know that everything was going to be okay. I put my trust and faith in the Lord and prayed for my uncle. After about a year of treatments we were given the wonderful news that his cancer had gone into remission. I know that the Lord knows us personally, He knows of our struggles and of our pain. He's suffered everything we have suffered through the atonement. I know that He hears and answers our prayers when we ask in faith and pure intent. And I know that He has given us this gospel and a prophet to help guide us back to Him. I can't begin to imagine my life without this gospel in it. My life is sweeter and more enjoyable and full of happiness because of it. I am grateful to have the priesthood authority in my life. Being a part of His church has brought me countless blessings like my family and my happiness with them.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full time mission for the church so that I can share my testimony of the gospel with others and to help others understand the important truths of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to go and talk to my neighbors and see if there is anything that I can do for them. I love writing uplifting poetry and singing for others. I enjoy reading and explaining the Book of Mormon stories to my friends.
