Hi I'm Kelsey

I grew up in Arizona, I served for a short time in the Santiago East Mission, I am a birth mother and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona and when I was 16 I moved to Montgomery, Texas. I have started college and am still debating but so far I'm working towards a business and nutrition degree. I have worked in the natural healthcare field and am a firm believer in chiropractic and natural alternatives. I love sports, baseball is my favorite and playing softball, but I'll play and watch any. I am the oldest of 4, I'm a lucky big sister. I am currently serving a mission in the Chile, Santiago East.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but was not always active in the church. I lived the "You Only Live Once" lifestyle for a time in my life. That season of time rapidly changed when I became pregnant at 18. I knew the high school fling would never last. I chose adoption. I have never doubted my decision because Heavenly Father constantly let me feel His love and support. I knew it was the right thing to do in order to give the sweet precious child the best life. I am now and will be forever grateful to my Heavenly Father for giving me the opportunity to place a child with his true family, where he was always meant to be and where I know he will is and will always be loved beyond measures and taken care of and sealed to forever. Because of this and other events that have happened in my life my testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was started for myself. I love this Gospel and my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. When I chose to make the Gospel my life I realized so many of the littlest things that He does for me daily and I am always amazed by the ways He is constantly blessing me and helping me. I know He is with me always and helps me every day. I was even blessed with opportunity to serve as a missionary in the Chile Santiago East Mission. After a few weeks there I was released, due to high anxiety and depression that I was not able to manage. It is something I was unaware of and will now continue to work on. I know God only gives us the things we need at the times we need them. I know He has a plan and purpose and although I usually don't understand them I know He planned it PERFECTLY. I am grateful for my family, that we can be together forever. For a mother and father who made the decision to be married in the Temple so that our family can be forever. For my brother's decision to serve as a missionary in the Belo Horizonte Brazil Mission (November 2014-November 2016) and for sisters who love me. It's simple, I love this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example I can. I am not perfect; I curse, I can be mean and grumpy, I have struggles, I have anxiety... But I am ALWAYS trying to better myself, EVERYDAY. I live my faith by doing what Heavenly Father (God) calls me to do. I have served as a Sunday School teacher to adults, a visiting teacher, a Sunday School teacher to 6 year olds and a youth counselor for the young mean and woman (14-18). I have loved every calling I have had and the opportunity it gave me to develop skills. I served a missionary in the Santiago East Mission, for a short time. I as medically and honorably released and now I go out and teach with the local missionaries when time allows. I love doing missionary and humanitarian work. I love working with people and serving them.
