Hi I'm Laura Rebekah

My three passions in life are being a missionary, becoming an ASL interpreter, and finding new memes to make my friends laugh.

About Me

I'm called to serve a mission in Idaho! I've been working for this for years, and I'm excited to finally get there! I hope after the mission to get a Bachelor's in ASL interpreting, or whatever is available along those lines. I currently have an Associates of Liberal Arts. I spend most of my free time on the internet or pestering my siblings. I have three of them and they're just so perfect for bothering. I love it. I also have a beta fish named Kitten! If this section weren't about me, it would be about him.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of this church has helped me in unimaginable ways. I really have no clue what I'd be like without the gospel. I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. I feel a surety, peace, and safety at an LDS church building that I feel no where else. I love my family and I know I have family all over the globe through the church. I don't have to find a new church every time I move somewhere. I have a home always. Joining this church is common sense to me. Why wouldn't someone want hope, love, knowledge, and so much more?

How I live my faith

I live my faith through hopefully example. It's hard to analyze personal spiritual progression. However, I trust those around me when they comment on the kind of good example I am. I want so much to allow others to know Christ better through me. It's not to show off, I just really want to help others come unto Christ and that's best done through example. I want to set a good example for my siblings and friends. I know that the right example is Christ's example for us. When they can't seem to see Christ in their lives, I hope that I help them find Him again. I also try to get others excited to do Family History and take the names they find to the temple. It's truly a blessing to see the joy on my friends' faces when they find something cool in their line. We jump around and squeal together as they discover who they are. I have siblings that aren't here on this Earth. Knowing that I will be reunited with them and countless other family members when I die is a light that fills my life. Eternal families truly is my "thing" in this gospel. It's why I do anything I do.
