Hi I'm Sister L. Kafu

I am a dream chasing, Georgia bulldog loving, California girl. A full time representative of Jesus Christ and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Daughter to the greatest parents, sister to 4 siblings, and aunt to three and counting. I graduated from a junior college with an Associates Degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice and will continue my educational pursuits at BYU, Provo. I love my Family, the summer, basketball, dancing, singing, BYU Football, shoes, music, and adrenaline rushes, but among other things, I especially love sharing the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is no other place on this earth that I'd rather be, than out here on His mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I knew no difference, so I went along with what I was taught by my parents and church leaders. It was not until I turned 15 that I realized that I didn't have a solid testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. So I did what anyone had to do to know if something were true. I searched the scriptures, pondered on the things I learned, and prayed for my own spiritual revelation. Upon reading the last chapter in the Book of Mormon, I prayed and asked "Heavenly Father, are these things really true?" I felt an overwhelming feeling of peace come over me. I knew that through a subtle answer from the Spirit, that the Gospel of Jesus Christ had been restored, that God has again called a prophet to lead and direct us, and that the Book of Mormon is standing evidence that Jesus is the Christ. I love this Gospel so much and I love sharing it! I will never regret a second of walking the path of discipleship and finding out for myself the truthfulness of these things. We have every thing to gain and nothing to lose, because He is a perfect-loving Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for a period of 18 months to bring souls closer to Christ.
