Hi I'm Mark Clukey

I grew up in Maine. I have graduated high school and am preparing for my mission in Belgium/Netherlands. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Mark. I enjoy playing sports ( Basketball, and Soccer). I like rock climbing and biking. I also enjoy reading, writing and drawing. I play the saxophone. I plan on attending collage at Utah State after I have completed my mission in Belgium/Netherlands.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, and I will continue to for the rest of it. Why might I do this? The answer is, because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that it is guided by a living prophet. I know that The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that it is true. I know as we follow its teachings and principles we will gain a greater knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that as we do live the principles of the gospel and endure to the end we will have the great opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that our Father in Heaven loves and knows us individually, and wants what is best for us. We just have to put our effort and faith in Him to receive His blessings. I know that because if the atonement of Christ we can live with Him again, and can be reunited with our families for all time and eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my actions and words. I represent the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints everywhere I go. I do this by acting and speaking in ways that follow the churches teachings and standards. I participate in the branch I attend by helping plan the activities that go on in it. I also help people in the community when they are in need of service. I have the opportunity of leading and teaching one of the adult classes in church.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Mark Clukey
A testimony is your personal knowledge of Heavenly Father and of the Gospel that we have to guide us in the world today. It is gained and strengthened through prayer and scripture study, and be hearing others testimonies, and sharing your testimony to others. Show more Show less
