Hi I'm Alex

I grew up in Utah. I attended chemistry labs at the University of Utah while in high school, love science, and am a Mormon.

About Me

I love science, and observing the natural world. The more I observe the natural world the more that I realize how much sense modern science makes with my faith, and how theories, such as evolution, fit in with my personal faith. I also enjoy reading, especially philosophy. My favorite philosopher is Plato, because I love his ideas and how they fit in with the LDS faith.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because through personal pondering, scripture study, and prayer I have felt the Holy Spirit confirm the truth of the Gospel of Christ to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating each Sunday at church, and reaching out to brothers and sisters hopefully serving them in some way that will help them.

What is faith?

Faith is to be hopeful for a life after death. To be hopeful that we do have a loving God. To hope that we have a friend Jesus Christ who is by our side at all times. I will never know of these things surely, but I am glad that I won't, because even Jesus told his disciple Thomas that the people who do not see Christ, but believe on him are blessed.
