Hi I'm Michaela

I'm an aspiring author, a tennis player, and the youngest of five kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

This year I am entering my sophomore year in high school. I play tennis for my school team, I read any book that is handed to me, I write fictional stories, and I'm always listening to music. I grew up with four older siblings who I was very close to. It was hard for me to see them go off to college, join the military, or get married. But it also left me, the only child left at home, to bond with my loving parents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that is strong in the church. Although many times I have felt myself leaning on my parents testimony rather than my own, I have experienced many things that have helped me realize what I truly believe. Even though at school I am often referred to as 'that Mormon girl', I take it more as a compliment than a teasing. I am proud of who I am and what I believe in. I am friends with many teens who don't know what they believe in, and it is often a reassurance that I have a knowledge of what is true. I know that there is a God. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. I know that this church is the true church with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I enjoy participating in the young woman's program along with the many service projects we do such as packing food for other countries, tying blankets for the salvation army, bringing meals to families who need help, etc. I abide by my beliefs and often share them with others.
