Hi I'm Adam Villanueva

I'm a Californian. I'm a college student. I'm a Human Biology Major. I want to become something more than I am. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. I love my family and enjoy every moment that I share with them. I have learned how to love, to serve, and to smile with them and they keep me laughing and happy constantly. I love to play and listen to music maybe a little bit too much. I have learned to play the guitar and the piano and enjoy singing as well. I served a Mission for the Church at the age of 19 in Veracruz Mexico for the space of two years. The two year mission taught me how to love and serve others and the joys that come from that. It was truly an experience that I will never forget. I currently attend BYU-Idaho as a student and major in Human Biology. I want to be able to serve and help others to the best of my ability and uplift them to be the best they can be. I love my life and am so grateful for the many things that bring me joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I grew up in a Mormon household and have loved all that this Church and Religion has brought into my life. I have prayed carefully and thoughtfully and have strived all my life to live this gospel. I have had witness from the Holy Ghost that this gospel is true. I am very thankful and blessed that this is the life that I have chosen to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the best way that I know how - I strive to follow the example set by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I try to be patient with others. I work to uplift and bless the lives of others. I seek constantly, through both my example and spoken work, to invite others to live God's law and feel the blessings that come from it. I attend Church on Sundays to draw closer to my Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ. I read the scriptures that we have been blessed with in this day and age to receive the guidance necessary to not only navigate through this world and time we live in but to know how I might better serve my Father. I try to act on the Faith that I have in the Lord by fulfilling church callings such as Sunday School Teacher, Family Home Evening Coordinator and Home Teacher. I try to ensure that people might feel the Spirit and God's love in whatever activity, lesson, or program has been prepared. I try to show love for others by earnestly desiring their happiness and do whatever is in my power to help them. The Savior spent His days serving and loving others and I try my best to emulate that with His spirit.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?
